CACCI

Non-Profit Website Makeover

Community Action Committee of Cape and Islands and the Child Care Network.

That’s a mouthful!

Funnily enough, they didn’t want a new name, but new website.

So, let’s just call ‘em CACCI. They’re a 55-year-old conglomeration of 25 service agencies on Cape Cod that needed two outdated websites combined. Sounds simple enough, but the new site also needed to be trilingual and fully accessible.

That’s not quite as simple.

What a Bright Idea!

Not sure if you know this or not, but the very first step in any makeover is a kickoff meeting. It’s where the designer asks the client 10 questions and they both end up chatting about the vision for the new site.

One of the key findings from the kickoff was the folks at CACCI wanted the site to be very upbeat – and weren’t afraid of color.

Not at all.

Guess what? They got a new site with bright, cheerful colors.

Color: the simplest way to infuse life into a new website and old non-profit.
