Eclipse Bio

Website for Gene Sequencing Company

We’ve all heard about DNA. But have you heard about RNA?

If you haven’t, don’t worry. It’s only important to know that it’s a lot harder for scientists to map RNA genes.

And for Eclipse Bio, a San Diego-based biotech, it was important to instantly signal to their scientist clients that Eclipse is focused on RNA, not DNA

One swirl or two?

You see, the difference lies in the fact that a DNA gene is a double-helix and an RNA gene is a single-helix. Simple enough: just use RNA images and comb out the ‘snarls.’

What I mean by ‘combing out the snarls’ is scientists have a tendency to shove all their data onto a page. They’re scientists. They live with data. You might even say they love their data.

The problem is, even scientists looking for RNA gene sequencing kits scan websites.

In the end, it’s always a matter of helping your site visitors quickly and easily scan the page. And the site that does that the best has the best chance of snagging the most business.
